Years later, fate reunites them as camp counselors at a summer camp. They have to work through all their feelings of abandonment and hurt along with being happy to see each other again. As they get to know each other again and learn about things that happened in the past, Penny starts to think there might be a chance with Blake. That is until he disappears again.
The angst here had me absolutely glued to my kindle, the lies and secrets and things that are revealed all start coming together. I was not ready for this book to hurt as much as it did. My heart was aching for Penny! Ultimately, the love that they share is able to overcome all of the complications. The ending felt a little abrupt but it was such a good story for these two characters who spent so much of their life alone....more
