Tatum is from Rixton but after an awful ending to a relationship, she starts over and moves in with some family friends and Reed. She actually met Reed before briefly where they shared a moment. Tatum has sworn off football players and Reed has been sworn to stay away from Tatum. Instead they develop a really strong friendship. It was really nice how much they got to know each other before starting anything. They really started to rely on each other and be comfortable around each other.
Eventually their chemistry and their connection couldn’t be denied any more and they start as friends with benefits but very quickly do they find the lines being blurred. When Tatum’s past comes back with a vengeance, it is Reed who is there to help defend her and to support her. The way that Reed loved and protected her was very swoony! I enjoyed all the appearances from Thatch & Cassie and friends and a lot of appearances from the Winslow brothers.
Scottie and Finn’s relationship really is quite the ride. There are lots of ups and lots of downs and it made it so much more captivating that way. I was always trying to figure out what was going to happen next. When Scottie and Finn start college, Finn is the bad boy with a lot of anger about how he grew up and he has plans to uncover a secret. Scottie is the virgin cheerleader who has a boyfriend but he is garbage! Scottie and Finn instantly connect and keep finding themselves in the same place.
The love between these two is so strong from the very beginning, but they have all these obstacles and wrong moments that slows their HEA. With every push and pull moment, you can still tell how much they love and care for each other. I really enjoyed how this book took place over most of their first year of college. The ending is really going to put you through it the most. Completely unexpected, Max Monroe really want you to feel ALL THE THINGS with this one!

This is an enemies to lovers story even though I think Audrey is the only one who actually hates Theo. Theo was previously playing for a different school. During a game vs Central State, Theo got in a hit on Audrey’s brother that took him out of the game. Audrey was furious with Theo because of how that could possibly affect her life. Then they get paired for the same clinical and forced into spending a lot of time together.
I really enjoyed the way that they slowly and deeply got to know each other. It was a very slow pacing but it really allowed time for Audrey and Theo to develop a strong friendship that grew into even more. They bonded over some deep family issues that they had been hiding and while they were different experiences, these experiences brought them together.
Audrey and Theo were so hot together. I loved the way that Theo took his time with Audrey and didn’t jump in head first. The way that Theo would just simply give Audrey a hug so oftentimes hotter than a sex scene! Theo was extremely patient with Audrey who had never had anyone choose her before. Audrey had the absolute worst mother and her brother wasn’t always much better. I was happy that she was finally able to shake free of them and join Theo’s family!
I personally am a classic grudge holder, I don’t tend to forgive and redemptions for me are rare but Jaqueline really had me thinking about actually forgiving Audrey’s brother. ...more

Everly is more black cat, hard to get to know, and not impressed with jocks. I really enjoyed how Hayes worked to break down Everly’s walls. He was immediately interested in her and was not turned off by the way she shut him down. Hayes brings up the idea of fake dating to help his image. The fake dating doesn’t last long because the more time they spend together, the more it begins to be real.
Their relationship seems to be going great and it is nice and easy and then BAM Brooke throws some twists and turns and the suspense aspect keeps you on the edge of your seat. I really liked the way that Hayes and Everly worked through the problem....more

But his friend has convinced him to come back and work the tree farm one last time. When Mercer sees Emily again, he knows he still loves her.
I enjoyed that we got to see some mental health issues here as Emily struggled with anxiety attacks. And having Mercer there to help was sweet. There is lots of adorable family moments too. Mercer has his grandpa as his biggest fan and their relationship was sweet! I am really glad when I was adding this to my goodreads that I noticed I needed to read Kiss Before Midnight first. It is a must! This story was so much more than I was expecting. It was fantastic! I felt so much heartache for Grace and Tatiana Sololov really portrayed that with her narration.
Grace was hurt when the guy that she liked, Mason, just disappeared from her life after an amazing date. Two years later she sees him again. Except he goes by Trent… and he has a girlfriend who has been with a long time. It was interesting the way they kept being thrown together. Grace had to really figure out her feelings. Was Trent not the same as her Mason? What was Grace to do when she had these strong feelings still for Mason and Trent brought so much of that back but yet he had a girlfriend. Trent couldn’t understand why he had such a strong pull towards Grace despite him being in love with someone else.
I enjoyed the way the story played out. It was a slow burn that made sense due to the situation. The reveal for the great Trent/ Mason mystery was very soap opera-like which could have been explained a little differently. The narrators did a great job keeping my interest through this long audio. I don’t think I enjoy listening to books through the audiobooks app though (that does not reflect my final rating for the book, just a statement) ...more

When reading a book by Hannah you will be guaranteed to get characters with flaws, with lovable qualities, with a past, and you will see their growth. These character stories bring all the emotions and Brody and Bria was probably the most emotional. These two went through he|| in their past but they find ways to bring out all the positives and have this beautiful friendship. This is a friendship like no other. Like I almost felt like I was going to agree not to do anything to mess with that friendship. Their bond went really deep.
Brody had been a favorite of mine through the series and when it came time for his book. He did not disappoint. He is funny and cocky but deep down he feels things very hard. He was a protector of his found family and would do anything for them. When it came to his friendship with Bria, he was even more protective. They way they could relate to certain parts of their past was so heartbreaking but perfect for them.
There were parts of this book that hurt really bad. We get put through a whirlwind of a story but when they reach their HEA, it is the greatest thing. ...more

They both came from crappy backgrounds and they both just understood each other, they had a special kind of love. But when something pulled Ally away, Cole was heartbroken but also angry at her. So when they are reunited they have a lot to work through. But the things theyve been through and the love that they share is a special bond they will not have with anyone else.

He has certainly given Cooper Vale competition for the top spot!
Everything about this book was enjoyable. Obviously hockey romance is huge right now and that was done very well. There is enough incorporated into the book to make it a true hockey romance, but not too much to where you have no clue what is going on if you don’t know hockey. The pacing was perfect for me. Even though it was an instant attraction for Easton, it wasn’t an instant love/ fast paced storyline; but it wasn’t an impossibly slow burn either. The characters were alluring and I couldn’t get enough of all of them. Easton is a top shelf book boyfriend. The way he is so loving and protective of Maya really warms my heart. Maya is strong but she has also been hurt by a hockey player before so she makes Easton work to win her over. Easton and his hockey teammates are such a close group of friends. The way they are all there for each other makes me so excited to continue to see more from these boys.
I wasn’t expecting to cry in this book but there was a bit of emotional pain. Overall though this was very much a feel good story with lots of swooning....more
