This is Dallas Montana’s story and we have previously seen that he tragically lost his wife and child and since has been living isolated off in a cabin. Our FMC, Martina has quite the backstory herself. She is passing through town when she wrecks her car. Martina has to stay with Dallas due to a severe snowstorm coming through. Dallas’ heart is as cold and frozen as the snow outside, he still feels the pain from his loss. Mari has such an uplifting personality despite everything she has been through and is able to get Dallas to open up to her.
This was such a beautiful story filled with lots of emotions. Dallas has a heartbreaking story but just wait until you hear Mari’s story. When they finally come together, they are so hot and passionate that it is almost surprising how few days they actually knew each other. Will Dallas find a way to fully heal and start a new life with Mari? Or will he still feel too much pain at the thought of letting them go? ...more

This has been a long series with so many men to fall in love with. Each guy brings their own unique qualities.
Jet is a little bit grumpy but he is mostly work focused. He is CEO of an airline company and he is completely devoted to the job. Ava has just finished school and is spending time at her grandfather’s friend's house to take some time for herself. Ava lost her father and has her own trauma from that experience and her mother left her in England to move to LA. Ava and Jet don’t start off as friends but when they start working together, things heat up between them. They bicker, and she pushes his buttons, and he is quite rude to her and then they make up in bed. Jet has to have all the control and it causes them to go back and forth constantly. I had a hard time liking Jet because he really did come off as cruel and really cold. I needed a little more of something likeable to balance him out.
The emotional journey that Elle takes you on for the end of this book is enough to really capture you and keep you reading until you hit the end. I just couldn’t put it down! She is honestly the perfect match for Harrison.

Their story after their first time is everything but easy. There is a lot of anger and hard feelings. But you can also tell there is a deep love that runs between them. Gabriel is furious when he finds out about his children. He acts a little bit irrationally but the way those kids warm his heart quickly was so adorable.
CJ Bloom and Sean Masters were perfect for this audio. Sean Masters as the grumpy temperamental billionaire boss was exactly like I expected. CJ Bloom portrayed Grace with such ease. I loved how she really showed Grace as sweet but didn’t put up with Gabriel’s cr@p. ...more

The way this man was head over heels for Zoey was soo swoony. Nash is the kind of man who chases after you. He literally will fly across the country to make sure things are okay. It took Zoey a bit longer due to how she was previously treated but how can she resist with a man like Nash giving her everything she wants.

Nero & Cinder actually meet at the beginning of the book, but it was the night he proposed to his girlfriend. Now a year later, Nero is sent some photos that show his fiance not being very fiance-like. Nero is the youngest Voss brother. I think he was the most open to wanting love out of all of them and probably the least dark. Cinder lost her father and now her step mom and her step sisters have been making her life miserable and forcing her to pay them money. One day she finally has had enough and leaves even if it means she has no place to go.
Nero and Cinder fall for each other hard. The spice was really spicing! Especially when they hit the private club! Those were some amazing, panty dropping scenes. While things are perfect and they are enjoying their time together and Nero is helping Cinder discover what she wants from life, they are both hiding some secrets. When these secrets are exposed, will it threaten everything they have built together?
This series has been phenomenal on audio. I can’t even imagine reading it and not listening to it because I think it just adds so much to the story. I was a bit surprised that Jason Clarke was the narrator, he wasn't on my top list of who I think of when it comes to dark and twisty heroes, but now he absolutely is on that list! This was a book that I was excited for from the minute that Brynlee & Carson were teased in the previous book, Tempting Promises. From the very first page, I was captivated with the writing and the depth of the characters. Corinne even manages to write a billionaire to be a very relatable character.
Brynlee (Bee) has been seen throughout the series. She is strong and very involved in her brother's lives. She has past that keeps her guarded but she is still the sweet and happy one in the family. Carson (Crew) is the billionaire single dad who Brynn met and fell in love with 10 years ago. He is protective and willing to do anything to protect his daughter, and apparently his Bee too. When their paths cross unexpectedly, Crew comes up with the idea to get married to try and solve both of their problems. Can Crew convince Bee that he never stopped loving her and he wants to love her forever? Crew is the swoony hero that puts most book boyfriends to shame. The way that he loves Bee and takes care of her and all of her needs, the big and small gestures of love, and the way that he supports her dreams… swoon!
The chemistry between Brynn and Crew is off the charts. Every interaction, every touch, every whispered word is charged with emotion. And the love that they both show Layla is very touching. If you're a fan of second-chance romances and marriage of convenience stories, then you NEED to pick this one up. Right. Now. Forgotten Desires is an absolute gem that will leave a lasting impression. Teddy Hamilton and Stella Hunter put so much of the emotions and the love into their narration. I love that this is a mix of second gen but also it takes a family/characters we saw in the previous series and starts a whole new series. Ellie is the daughter from Stone Vows. She has an immediate connection with a guy in a grocery store just from looking at each other. Blake comes from a good family, but he has been known for not being serious about relationships. When he discovers he has a 4 yr old daughter, everything changes for him.
The biggest challenge Blake faces with his new found fatherhood, is that Maisy is deaf and has not been diagnosed or even exposed to any form of communication. He brings in a deaf advocate to help them navigate things, and she turns out to be Ellie. Blake and Ellie try to keep their distance and be professional for Maisy but the more time they spend together, they realize their feelings are deeper than just Ellie helping with Maisy.
I absolutely loved seeing Blake thrown into his role of father. That man heard he was the father and he went ALL IN! There was no questioning or second guessing, and he was determined to do the best for his daughter. It wasn’t easy because they both needed to learn how to communicate. There were moments that had me actually tearing up because it was so sweet. Never did I think a simple hug would have me crying!

There was a lot of character growth and things they needed to overcome. Both of their pasts literally broke my heart. They faced pain that no one should ever feel and the torture that came from it.
If you love a good black cat than you will love the character of Sloane. She is known for being an ice queen and her inability to shed a tear. The way she falls for Xavier, her relationship with her youngest sister, and her love for her fish all prove that she does have a big heart, but only shows it to those who deserve it. Her strength was really powerful. Xavier was a fun, take things lightly guy. His pull toward Sloane was intense and their chemistry together was off the charts. The spice was definitely spicing! I love that there was so much more than just the romance, we had family drama, and some suspense, past character appearances, secrets and twists and turns and mix that with the smut and the loving characters it couldn’t be more perfect!
It is always fun to see who the narrators are going to be for Ana’s books. She switches it up with every book and really makes them stand out. Gregory and Elena took on these roles and completely nailed it! They brought so much depth to the characters and the duet narration was done so smoothly I actually didn’t even realize it was a duet at first. ...more

I saw the tropes for this and was sold. I will eat up anything that is ex’s brother type. This was also my first book from Laurelin Paige and it turns out I love her writing. It was VERY SPICY.

While she thought he was committed to her, it turns out there were still other women. But their intertwined life made it hard to leave so they kept putting on a show.
Alex is Hunter’s brother and steps into the role as Riah’s brand manager. And he pushed her to be sexier and the way he did it was, phew, so hot! Alex brought out a side of Riah that he hadn’t discovered but grew to love. The closer they got, the more intense things got. Their sneaking around and secrets made it more thrilling. I was burning up the entire time listening to this! This wasn’t any sweet romantic s-e-x, they really brought out the dirty in each other. They did truly love each other though and it took them a while to admit that.
The audio was so good, I didn’t realize how well these narrators would do as this strong alpha billionaire. And holy crap, the way that Elena Wolfe added the vocals into the narration. SLAYYED! ...more
