I was saddened to read about the authors problems with her publisher Ellora's Cave. Lolita Lopez has decided to walk away from the series due to unresolvable contract issues...this sucks the big one. I've become really invested in the characters and wanted to see them all get HEAs.
I really like Dizzy. She was so innocent but truly genuine. Venom fell for her right away, the big lovable softy. He was able to gently introduce her to her sexual side and teach her all about his passion for rope play and bondage.
Great twist about Dizzy's bloodline.

Neither Zac or Margo resonated with me. I didn't get any feelings from them, just some cheesy dialogue and lots of self-deprecating inner monologues.Neither Zac or Margo resonated with me. I couldn't understand Reo, why get genetically matched with someone and have them show up on your planet and then reject her? It makes no sense. The strange transporter issue, where Nina just shows up in the middle of the jungle and Reo knows where to find her? If Nina in is such danger, why not tell her and make a plan to catch the bad guys? Why make her feel like crap and embarrass her in front of everyone. Cheesy and predictable....more

Mariana is a scientist stationed at an alien planet. They have a concealed base used to observe the native species. Something goes wrong and the base is destroyed, leaving Mariana trapped and near death. Thankfully, Taz'ax is close-by and is able to rescue her. We find out that he's been mutilated and exiled from his community. His father is a tyrant and wanted to get rid of any possible challengers to his authority. Mariana and Taz'ax are both alone and trying to survive.
I liked how "alien" Taz'ax was...although I wanted a cover image of him since it's hard to imagine what he looks like (the 2 mouths, especially). It helped that Mariana eventually got her translator since communication was a challenge. ...more

Casey and her twin sister get abducted by bad aliens that want to sell them. There are no details on how they were taken (are aliens still unknown to humans?). What about their jobs or family? Casey doesn't even think about going back home. The switching POV between Casey and BrOdByc was clumsy and some part were repeated.
I liked that the brothers all had a different skin color...but 20 brothers seems like a lot. Will we be able to keep them all straight...including all their special talents?...more

It dragged at some spots and I'm getting frustrated with Eleanor and Voc; can we get some resolution please? Eleanor is finally starting to get some confidence, especially with the support of her friends. I want to shake Voc...why can't he open his mouth and tell Eleanor why he's staying away. He should realise that his distance is giving her the wrong message. I did enjoy Aziz and Cody; they are so cute and so in love. Can't wait for the Karfili to arrive. The concept is good; but the execution could have been better (lots of typos...etc). I mostly enjoyed the multiple POVs and we got to see various relationships that were each very different. Cole and Aziz was amazing and hot; very steamy with real feelings. Samantha and Keet was very one-sided; Sam being totally oblivious to Keet's feelings for her. Elenor and Vok was kind of uncomfortable. They are both very reluctant to being paired together.
The Kathar aliens are very technologically advanced but now depend on humans to procreate. They are non-binary; have no genitalia or "holes" whatsoever. They don't even have faces; which is super creepy. They eat by absorbing patches they stick to their skin and their skin changes color depending on their emotions (they are even bioluminescent). They are empathic and pick up feelings by touch. One thing that's not explained is how they see/hear with no eyes/ears and how they talk with no mouth.
The end is not really an end as we have no resolution; especially with Elenor and Kov. I'll for sure continue the series....more

These 4 guys worked well together, but the age gaps creeped me out a little. Did Esher have to be so old; like grampa old?
