I didn't really like Savanah and her shady past. Why was she so determined to go back to Earth...her life was no picnic. I really liked Teren but Sarnath got on my last nerve. Why is he such a jerk? These 4 guys worked well together, but the age gaps creeped me out a little. Did Esher have to be so old; like grampa old? Zmmm was a strange addition and at first I got him mixed up with the pet Razaza. Not too sure why he (view spoiler)[ thought Savanah was a "goddess" or why it was so easy for him to leave his people (hide spoiler)]

Probably because Andre, Niall and Madoc are Canadian :D Heather is a really strong and independent lady who takes it upon herself to do something about the awful Cosentir in their region. What ends up happening is quite unexpected and throws everyone for a loop. Adored the young Talem and Sky and so happy they finally found a home.

I have to be honest...I didn't like Allana at all. She comes off as pretentious and entitled. She's supposed to be BBW but it's never really mentioned except to say she's curvy. She fools around with 3 men and gets mad at them for leaving her aroused!!! I mean, come on.
I'm not sure about the timeline. It seems historical but I can't be sure. The hotel business seems like an afterthought...they're desperate to save it, but we never see any patrons there. Allana has ideas to fix the problems, but they are never explained.
Gunnar decides to help King (with his depression) and decides that a woman is the solution. Also strange, since woman don't seem to be respected in this universe. They aren't really allowed to have careers but somehow Allana went to college. I'm not sure why Gunnar feels it's his responsibility to fix King. Their relationship is a mystery to me. At least with Declan, we learn that he was around when King was young.
King is a self-loathing mess. He was injured in some war (not explained) and lost an arm...but he doesn't act like he's missing a limb. He seems to have no problems getting dressed and it didn't feel authentic.
The strangest part is the whole shifter thing. Humans don't seem to know about shifters, but Allana accepts it without batting an eye. Are there other shifters around? Where did this lion, bear and wolf come from? Very implausible....more

Very Poor Holly has been through hell on the prison planet. Thankfully she hides in Gavin's greenhouse and suddenly their world shifts for the better. A bit spoilery. - Bronwyn has too many insecurities and there is way too much inner dialogue - I never understood the whole timeline thing. Bronwyn was taken from Earth but Thain (blue alien) explains that Gaia no longer supports life and the Danans, created by humans, have been around for over 200,000 years. They have interstellar travel and interact with other aliens. No mention of other humans. So did they travel back in time to kidnap humans???? I really want to understand this...please answer my questions Ms. Glover. - I'm still not clear about how and why the Danans were created, the different colors are cool. - The reproductive hermaphrodite issue would lead to a bunch of clones, confused. - I liked Rhain (white alien) but his future walking creeped me out a little. The mind-talk was interesting. - Naicin (green alien) came off as the joker and he was a bit of a man-whore. - I hated Macin (red alien) a first. He was quite mean and insulting to Bronwyn. - But what really got under my skin is at the end, when Bronwyn decides to leave the guys and try to break their bond. I just wanted to grab her and shake some sense in to her. Her logic was totally flawed and took away from their happy reunion. - I wanted more romance. Their sex scenes were so clinical and pretty much only done so they could establish mind-talking abilities. Needed more chemistry, especially in the frenzy....more

I didn't enjoy as much as book #1. I had a harder time liking Poppy since it took her so long to adapt to her new life. They are widows so are reluctant to be hurt again....more

For a supposed romance author, she seems quite bitter and cold. I felt no connection to her whatsoever, especially how she felt about the little boy. I can understand not being used to children but she acts as though she hates them.

Dami is not super likable but her previous loneliness is her redeeming factor. I liked that the supernatural being were of all varieties and not the ones we commonly see in paranormal books. Is Dami a soul-eater? I'm not sure she even knows.
I want to dig deeper into Dami's family life and try to figure out her parents. Grim mentioned that her soul wanted to be reborn and that's how she came to be...cryptic much!!!
All 3 guys are fantastic and I also want to meet more of Dami's strange friends. Not sure if this feels like a true menage since the sex is always one-on-one....more
