Grim and Jud rescue Cora from hell and Jud knows she's the ONE for them...all 7 of them.
In this installment, we only get to know Jud, Doc and Grim...the other 4 guys were on a scavenging trip. This was nice as Cora (or the reader) didn't get overwhelmed.
Can wait to read more. Loved all the dirty talk....more

This reminds me a little of "The Stand" by Stephen King. Some plague devastates the human population and like 99% of the population dies. The few survivors try to find each other and survive while avoided the creeps, weirdos and religious zealots.
The character development is great and I really like Abby, Airen and Joseph. I'll for sure continue this epic series....more

Eva is an amazing character. With her quiet and genius way of understanding the new world, she's able to adapt and mould her situation to create something wonderful that eventually impacts the whole society.
I loved John right away and Avery grew on me slowly. Diego and Ethan were great together.
It was a little harder for me to understand Nix. Her POV starts in the second half of the book and her struggle is immense. I loved the way the author brings the story back full circle with Gareth.
The only reason I didn't give this amazing story 5 stars is because I didn't get my HEA...and I'm kind of bitter.

Very graphic but also very funny and sad zombie horror book. I loved some of the non-typical aspects like Uly being really buff gym nut who prefers to bottom and smaller weaker not self-confidant Jake is a total top. They work really well together and at the end, all they can think about is each other...*sniff*
Some resounding imagery that will stay with me a long time are: - evil Stephen in the shower scene...ouch! - Dusty the daddy with his alphabet muscle twinks - that horrendous swimming pool incident with the water polo team...poor Noah - Uly and Jake looking at each other through the office glass wall in horror

There wasn't enough action, especially on the whole Carl situation. With the cliffhanger ending in the last book, I was sure to get something good but it just fell flat.

It took a little while to get into the story as we start off before the Bane outbreak. I felt so bad for Zack having to deal with his zealot father and brother. Thankfully Nico comes across his home...but he's already infected with the alpha strain and has become a Jug.
They set off to find the only human safe-zone and end up in a struggle for their lives. The end is a little disappointing and there's no real HEA.
I look forward to reading the conclusion Bane to see if Zach and Nico are finally able to reunite. ...more

When Rhys gets rescued by a bunch of enhanced soldiers "Jugs", the thinks he's a dead man. It gets worse when he learns that he's been exposed to the Gamma virus and will most likely develop the rot and die or worse, become a revenant.
The medic comes up with a radical solution that might possibly save his life...thank goodness that Darius is there to "make" him take a chance on survival.
Great world building and lots of dirty, dirty sex....more

I liked the whole virus/pandemic concept and the mission to find the scientists that can possibly design a vaccine. The military group of 20 men was a little hard to keep straight though.
What I didn't like was the relationship between Celia, Doc and Tango. It felt so fake to me. I mean right from the beginning, there was no chemistry whatsoever then all of sudden Doc suggest that they get down and dirty. There was no build-up, no furtive looks...and the dirty talk was quite cheesy.
Then before you know, they all love each other and Celia has no qualms about being with 2 guys. Didn't really work for me...more
