I wanted to like this a little more than I did, but I did find it a pleasant and enjoyable read. Readers who enjoy spinster/rogue romance, tortured heroes with a bad reputation, and heroines who finally get their day in the sun, along with the fairy tale theme, will probably like this book.

Overall rating: 3.5/5.0 stars.

Lynsey A I just picked up two of her books yesterday at the used bookstore after discovering that it is Barbara Dawson-Smith writing under a different name. I loved her writing under the Dawson-Smith name so here is hoping I enjoy her writings as this pseudonym as well.

Lynsey A You're welcome! Yeah, I saw it when I opened the cover and saw the real author name...I think. Or maybe I saw it on goodreads when I did a search for this book/author.
