Hot d*mn!!! Dex Hardy! 🥵 Every little tease that Shain released of this book left me breathless and I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. And wow. It did not disappoint. Just the amount of “my fiancée” in this book was everything, Dex’s possessiveness and protectiveness over Kee was so hot!

Dex and Kelani knew each other for years since their families lived next to each other and what started as friendship turned into much more for both of them. But what these two went through and how so much was stacking against them was enough to break them apart even though what they both needed the most was each other. They each had their missing piece inside the other. A second chance, angst, tortured hero and heroine romance, it was just so good. It checked all the boxes and I loved every second of it.

Also, my God, that rooftop pool scene? I about died, screamed and giggled the whole time, seeing them all together like that? Declan, Dom, Dex, Dimitri, Cade and Dante? 🔥 It was PERFECTION!!! I kept rereading it because it was sooo good!! Loved it! Love this world and all these characters!
