I wouldn't imagine reading this book for the second time (this time in English) would change my whole perspective of the book. It continues to be one of my favorites but now it's so much better. I now felt a strong connection with the characters and understood more about the story, about the hints and clues left at random and how they all fit together at the end. This was amazing! To anyone who read this author's books knows she rocks and it's just the same here. I loved it! It's such a thrilling and page-turning book, it kept me on the edge of my seat even though I remembered vaguely about the ending, and that shows how good a book is. I just love everything about this book.

I love reading books with angels and demons and that whole deal so I had to check this one and I loved it. It was really short, though and I don’t really know if the author continued with the series. I really wish she did but couldn’t find it anywhere online.
Anyway, this book was really good. It was suspenseful, beautiful and hot! It’s worth it.

I received an ARC of this book and I was soooo ready to love it, I loved all the other books from the series but for some reasons, this one was not it for me. It was mostly cringy and I honestly skipped most of it. I love Shain and her books but this was not it, I think Dimitri and Olive deserved better.
Anyway, let me explain my reasons… I don’t even know where to start, honestly. Their conversations were so cringy and lackluster. It kept going around and around and every single time it would come back to the same discussions. Olive kept saying she wanted to date other men after finding out her ex boyfriend cheated on her, she wanted to experience more and see what was out there but she ended up on Dimitri’s bed every night, even though she kept pushing they were fake and that it was nothing more than sex, she still fell for her “desire” every single time. Not that Dimitri left her a choice. He was so controlling and not in a sexy possessive way, it was just wrong for me. She said over and over she wasn’t ready for a family, for kids or even for a relationship and what did he do? Threw away her birth control, because he was “concerned it was giving her migraines”… all while saying that he “hoped to have knocked her up” after having unprotected sex. Olive was honestly a doormat. She would fight him about seeing other men, she would sleep with him, turn around and go on dating apps to find someone else saying she wanted to “explore”, knowing full well she was just in complete denial. She was so annoying with this whole spiel every single time, she would say she was going on a date, he would get growly and prohibit her from going, she would get mad and that’s it. Rinse repeat. Dimitri’s “breeding kink” was not giving what was supposed to, it was controlling and completely unacceptable in a definitely bad way.
Okay, now the plot. Or the lack thereof. There was no reason for the fake dating, the main reason behind it was weak and boring. Throughout the book so much info was dumped, adding the Irish mafia, with the Armanelli’s Italian mafia in the middle and a secret society? Nothing made sense. And half of the book was people saying Olive should be careful and that Dimitri should keep an eye on her, all for nothing to happen and for it all to be resolved in a blink of an eye at the last chapter and epilogue. It was insane. I feel so bad for not liking this but I had to be honest, I might be kicked out of the arc team for it but I wouldn’t lie just because. Anyway, I had such high hopes for this last book of the series and I simply hated it. I’m so hoping that Pink and Bane’s book is better than this one....more

Another absolutely AMAZING Saint View trilogy!! Wife Number One, book 1 of the trilogy, already set the tone for how good the rest will be! I could not put this down, I devoured it and I loved every second of it!! Saint View is one of my favorite book series and this one couldn’t have started it in a better way!
Kara and her men. Hawk, Hayden and Grayson. Wow. These 4 have soooo much going on and will have to go through so much to find their peace that I already know I’ll be crying a lot during this trilogy. Wife Number One wrecked me, I laughed, screamed and cried with it and it’s only the beginning. Seeing each of these characters grow and change throughout the story is beautiful, to see Hawk open up to his dreams and his feelings, to see Hayden deal with the guilt from his past and to move forward with a better future, to see Grayson finding his reason to fight again and, finally, to see our beautiful Kara see herself in the way these men see her, like the Queen she is, is one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful things ever.
Sadly, this didn’t do it for me. 2.5 ⭐️ I couldn’t connect with the characters or the story. There was just something missing, more of the plot needed Sadly, this didn’t do it for me. 2.5 ⭐️ I couldn’t connect with the characters or the story. There was just something missing, more of the plot needed to be developed, there was just no major storyline to it. They got together, she kept fighting her feelings and pushing him away, he kept pursuing her and allowing everything to happen. He’s not a dominant mafia boss, he was very mellow and would let Lucia walk all over him. Lucia was a bit annoying, kept saying she wanted to keep her distance but when he actually stopped contacting her, she got all pissed about it. It was just very childish. Also, the reason why (view spoiler)[Marco chose to shoot Lucia out of nowhere wasn’t explained. It was said Leo interrogated and tortured him for answers but that was it, nothing else was said about it. And close to the end, Antonio gets shot and instantly makes some lame attempt to push Lucia away for her safety, which lasts all of seconds, he almost dies and they live happily ever after. I just think it needed to be more mafia than that, more kidnapping, more danger and depth to the mafia vibe situation. (hide spoiler)] Idk, there was just something missing for me here. But I will keep reading the series, I’m curious about Dante and Valentina....more

It’s a college bullying enemies to lovers romance set about Crystal, Ares, Blaine and Caleb. The guys are part of the Tartarus house, where they are the most heinous and depraved boys on campus. Crystal is the sweet, innocent girl just trying to get through college. Until she witnesses something that will forever change her life and chain her to these boys.

Found this book on tiktok when I was between reads and it just felt right so I went straight to Amazon to download it and wow it was so beautiful. It did take me a while to get into the story but halfway through I couldn’t put it down and I was loving every second of it.
Hanna was used to but hated her lonely life. She was abandoned by her parents when young and she went through life by herself because of the fear of making herself vulnerable for heartache. She had no one, until a letter comes for her that will change her whole life.
Theo is a cold and uncaring man. He only has a soft spot for his younger sister and that was fine with him. He never cared much about relationships or close friends, he was happy living life by himself while also feeding his desires with his one night stands. Until Hanna.
This story is cute, funny and I really enjoyed it. There’s 2 extra novellas about it and I can’t wait to dive into it. This was my first by this author and I’ll be checking more of her work for sure....more

Omg!!! As always, Katie and Kendra delivered!!! Another amazing RH dark romance by these two and I could not have loved it any more! It was a dark, delicious, and thrilling read! I loved every second of it and I'd definitely read a series of these characters. Cirque Obscurum is a dark reverse harem paranormal romance set in the 50s about a special cirque that houses the darkest nightmares and freaks of the world.
❝ Cirque is here. Cirque is everywhere. We freaks play the cards and we are the cards. ❞
Ember was always fascinated with the circus and when she finally convinced her dad to take her to the Cirque in town, Cirque Obscurum, she knew she had found her home. As soon as she stepped in, she felt like she was where she belonged and she spent years after that trying and chasing after that feeling but what she found was the opposite.
Being stuck in an abusive marriage, Ember sees no way out and on the worst days of her life, she's ready to give up. Until she finds the one thing she kept from that day at the Cirque. The Joker card. Having nothing else to do but wait and hope for death, she holds on to that card as a lifeline, remembering happier times, but little did she know, she called upon the darkness and the nightmares answered her call. She just never expected to be a part of those nightmares and to become one of her own. Diamond, Spade, Club, and Heart will show Ember the power of embracing her dark nightmares and the rewards of accepting herself and joining Cirque with her life and soul.
❝ Our nightmares are what make us who we are. They brought us together. ❞
This book was absolutely amazing! Gritty and hot in all the right parts, I couldn't put it down. I was hooked from the start and seeing the characters' development made the whole story. Ember, Diamond, Spade, Club, and Heart were delicious to read, the way these men allowed her to finally be free, to be anything she wanted while they had her back was amazing. I loved it, another amazing read by Katie and Kendra! I'm really hoping they make this into a duet or series, I know I'd definitely read it.
❝ "You want all of us, Queen? Can you handle that?" "Yes, I want all of you." "Your wants are ours to fulfill." ❞
