I received an ARC of this book and I was soooo ready to love it, I loved all the other books from the series but for some reasons, this one was not it for me. It was mostly cringy and I honestly skipped most of it. I love Shain and her books but this was not it, I think Dimitri and Olive deserved better.
Anyway, let me explain my reasons… I don’t even know where to start, honestly. Their conversations were so cringy and lackluster. It kept going around and around and every single time it would come back to the same discussions. Olive kept saying she wanted to date other men after finding out her ex boyfriend cheated on her, she wanted to experience more and see what was out there but she ended up on Dimitri’s bed every night, even though she kept pushing they were fake and that it was nothing more than sex, she still fell for her “desire” every single time. Not that Dimitri left her a choice. He was so controlling and not in a sexy possessive way, it was just wrong for me. She said over and over she wasn’t ready for a family, for kids or even for a relationship and what did he do? Threw away her birth control, because he was “concerned it was giving her migraines”… all while saying that he “hoped to have knocked her up” after having unprotected sex. Olive was honestly a doormat. She would fight him about seeing other men, she would sleep with him, turn around and go on dating apps to find someone else saying she wanted to “explore”, knowing full well she was just in complete denial. She was so annoying with this whole spiel every single time, she would say she was going on a date, he would get growly and prohibit her from going, she would get mad and that’s it. Rinse repeat. Dimitri’s “breeding kink” was not giving what was supposed to, it was controlling and completely unacceptable in a definitely bad way.
Okay, now the plot. Or the lack thereof. There was no reason for the fake dating, the main reason behind it was weak and boring. Throughout the book so much info was dumped, adding the Irish mafia, with the Armanelli’s Italian mafia in the middle and a secret society? Nothing made sense. And half of the book was people saying Olive should be careful and that Dimitri should keep an eye on her, all for nothing to happen and for it all to be resolved in a blink of an eye at the last chapter and epilogue. It was insane. I feel so bad for not liking this but I had to be honest, I might be kicked out of the arc team for it but I wouldn’t lie just because. Anyway, I had such high hopes for this last book of the series and I simply hated it. I’m so hoping that Pink and Bane’s book is better than this one....more

Another absolutely AMAZING Saint View trilogy!! Wife Number One, book 1 of the trilogy, already set the tone for how good the rest will be! I could not put this down, I devoured it and I loved every second of it!! Saint View is one of my favorite book series and this one couldn’t have started it in a better way!
Kara and her men. Hawk, Hayden and Grayson. Wow. These 4 have soooo much going on and will have to go through so much to find their peace that I already know I’ll be crying a lot during this trilogy. Wife Number One wrecked me, I laughed, screamed and cried with it and it’s only the beginning. Seeing each of these characters grow and change throughout the story is beautiful, to see Hawk open up to his dreams and his feelings, to see Hayden deal with the guilt from his past and to move forward with a better future, to see Grayson finding his reason to fight again and, finally, to see our beautiful Kara see herself in the way these men see her, like the Queen she is, is one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful things ever.

Omg!!! As always, Katie and Kendra delivered!!! Another amazing RH dark romance by these two and I could not have loved it any more! It was a dark, delicious, and thrilling read! I loved every second of it and I'd definitely read a series of these characters. Cirque Obscurum is a dark reverse harem paranormal romance set in the 50s about a special cirque that houses the darkest nightmares and freaks of the world.
❝ Cirque is here. Cirque is everywhere. We freaks play the cards and we are the cards. ❞
Ember was always fascinated with the circus and when she finally convinced her dad to take her to the Cirque in town, Cirque Obscurum, she knew she had found her home. As soon as she stepped in, she felt like she was where she belonged and she spent years after that trying and chasing after that feeling but what she found was the opposite.
Being stuck in an abusive marriage, Ember sees no way out and on the worst days of her life, she's ready to give up. Until she finds the one thing she kept from that day at the Cirque. The Joker card. Having nothing else to do but wait and hope for death, she holds on to that card as a lifeline, remembering happier times, but little did she know, she called upon the darkness and the nightmares answered her call. She just never expected to be a part of those nightmares and to become one of her own. Diamond, Spade, Club, and Heart will show Ember the power of embracing her dark nightmares and the rewards of accepting herself and joining Cirque with her life and soul.
❝ Our nightmares are what make us who we are. They brought us together. ❞
This book was absolutely amazing! Gritty and hot in all the right parts, I couldn't put it down. I was hooked from the start and seeing the characters' development made the whole story. Ember, Diamond, Spade, Club, and Heart were delicious to read, the way these men allowed her to finally be free, to be anything she wanted while they had her back was amazing. I loved it, another amazing read by Katie and Kendra! I'm really hoping they make this into a duet or series, I know I'd definitely read it.
❝ "You want all of us, Queen? Can you handle that?" "Yes, I want all of you." "Your wants are ours to fulfill." ❞
“I don’t care what’s on the other side,” I whispered into her ear. “As long as you’re in there with me.” All I f*cking wanted was her.
My heart… serio “I don’t care what’s on the other side,” I whispered into her ear. “As long as you’re in there with me.” All I f*cking wanted was her.
My heart… seriously, I didn’t know I had it in me to love Augie after everything he did in Saint View High. I hated him and he was beyond forgiveness imo, BUT Killer Kiss showed a side of Augie that no one expected, a side that didn’t justify what he did but explained why he did it and how he truly felt about everything. It was a beautiful book to read, seeing Augie’s growth and how he changed and valued the importance of having people around him was seriously beautiful to see.
Ophelia was Scythe/Vincent and Fawn’s older sister. Scythe/Vincent is from Saint View Prison and Fawn we meet at the beginning of Saint View Strip. Fawn’s a sweet girl running away from a dark past that led her to Saint View Strip Club, making her a part of that big family but when she goes missing nothing is as it should be, there’s now a missing piece in the family and everyone is doing the best they can to find her. Ophelia, that helped Fawn escape their crazy family, didn’t know about her sister’s disappearance until she accidentally met Augie, and that’s when everything changes.
This book was a rollercoaster and I seriously could not put it down, it was so good!!!! The spice, the character crossover from other Saint View series, the plot twists, everything was just amazing!! Also all the scenes with Scythe were my favorites for sure, he’s the best Saint View character and I always die laughing with his scenes ...more

Beck Danvers was created to break men like me. Break them and own them.
Wow! Another amazing book in the series! In book 1, Revolt, there's just enough Beck Danvers was created to break men like me. Break them and own them.
Wow! Another amazing book in the series! In book 1, Revolt, there's just enough background story on Beck and the guys to make me curious about them and Rebel did not disappoint. Beck was a small-town girl trying to follow her dreams, but most importantly, she was on a revenge path and would take down anyone who got in her way. She had a mission and no one would stop her. Not even those 3 sexy rockstars who kept trying to break her walls down every day. Chase, Kolton, and Trav, with their band, Dead Ringers, were on the hunt for a new lead singer since their last, and all the previous ones didn't work out. The Dead Ringers were on their last chance to make this work, scandal after scandal they were not getting the break they deserved, until Beck Danvers. She came to turn their world upside down, in more ways than one, good and bad.
“You can start again as many times as it takes. It’s your life, as long as you live it in a way that makes you happy, then you don’t owe anyone else anything.”
Rebel was amazing! I devoured this book and could not put it down, I was so invested from the start and kept creating theories in my head and I absolutely loved the plot twist and the ending. Seeing Beck grow and accept love and open herself up for more reasons to live was beautiful. Also, how the guys could overcome their past and the demons that haunted them because they finally had the piece that was missing in their lives. And the spice, omg, these 4 together was hotttt!!! Can't wait for the next book, I just know it'll be a banger like this one.

Another perfect Ravaged Castle book. Liam and Zoe... oh my god, I've been waiting for their story for so long and I loved every second of it. After seeing glimpses of them in the previous books, I was dying to dive into their story. An age gap, professor-student, ward-guarding romance was everything I needed.
Liam was best friends with Zoe's dad when a tragic accident took him and her mother from her, making Liam her guardian. However, it's not as easy as that, Zoe had her rebel side that always came out around Liam, especially when she got older, and wow the sparks between them... Liam fought his feelings and desires as much as he could, and Zoe would push him and poke the beast every single time. She was the forbidden fruit and Liam did everything he could to resist her, until he couldn't anymore.
Ward Willing was absolutely amazing! Book 3 of the Ravaged Castle series delivered everything! I loved seeing Chase and Miles again, and seeing Juliet giving Liam advice was so cute! I loved everything about Liam and Zoe's story and I can't wait to read Orion's. After all the hints and seeing him in this book, I'm so curious and invested in his story! Ward Willing is a full-length, age gap, guardian/ward billionaire romance with BDSM themes. It is book three in the Ravaged Castle series. All books can be read as standalones.

And, again, KA Knight knocked another Courts & Kings book out of the park! Court of Beasts is set around the same world as the previous books but it is centered on the Red Mountain wolf pack, which has Jang as alpha, and Quinn as his daughter. Quinn has had a traumatic past and suffered the loss of people very close to her and whom she loved more than anything at the hands of the Hunters. After that tragic event, she tried her best to prove she deserved to be part of the pack and could lead them all into a better future. Everything she did was for the pack, she helped and thought of everyone before thinking of herself and when the hunters' threat gets closer than ever before, her loyalty and strength will be put to the test. The hunters, Vale, Lucien, and Jai, were raised in the hunter world, where they learned to hunt and k!ll the monsters that hunt innocent humans. However, somewhere along the way, the senior hunters stopped thoroughly checking the threats to make sure they were eliminating the bad monsters. These three men will bring forward a change in that outdated thinking, but not with a lot of sacrifice first.
This book was absolutely amazing! Filled with action, fast-paced, and a LOT of smut, it was perfect for me. I could not put it down and I devoured it every time I could. I also was absolutely sobbing by the end of it so bad that my husband came to ask me what was happening. Whoever reads this book will know which part I'm talking about, oh my god, I was destroyed and my heart broke so badly for all of them. The ending though, the reward he got for what he did was beautiful and he deserved that more than anyone. I also loved how there was mention of Althea and the new hunter boss, Angel, and how the queens are all rising and will be the ones to bring forward the change their world needs. Anyway, I loved this book, as I do each of Katie's books and I'm so thankful I got to read an ARC of it. Now I'll be patiently (or not so much) waiting for the next book, Court of Heathens, especially after that epilogue.

Forbidden.” He nips my lip. “Do you taste that sweet everywhere?” “You’ll never find out,” I tease, nipping his lip again. “Want to bet, she-wolf?” He murmurs before deepening the kiss.
“Good girl, you’re doing so well, she-wolf. Shit, you should see how you’re taking us both. You are stretched so wide for us, your greedy little cunt leaking around him. Does he feel good, Quinn?” She nods, but I grip her head, yanking it up with a snarl. “Use your words, she-wolf.” “Yes, yes, he feels good.” She groans. “So good, please.”

I’m seriously obsessed with this world, with the monsters and the Black sisters, I want more!!! I loved every second of this book, it was absolutely incredible and I could not put it down. This book is about Kai Black, Cora’s older sister (from the first book) and how Kai had to fight tooth and nail to get her will to live again. After everything she went through, all the horrible things she witnessed and did by orders of the king scarred her deeper than anyone could’ve seen. She just didn’t know that her destiny was so much more than she could’ve imagined. Meeting her monsters not only saved her but also saved them too.
❝ I hold out my hand, watching her, and when she lays her soft, small one in mine, I am lost to her completely, brightened by her sunlight and darkened by her pain. I become hers. ❞
Shadowed Heart was heartbreakingly beautiful. I really loved every second of it and it was a ride to dive into the Shadowed Kingdom world. I’ve never been much into the fantasy book world but wow, this duet just made me find a new obsession/passion.

Another amazing read by KA Knight! And another series I'm sure will become my new obsession. Wow, this book was soooo good!! I devoured it, it was so hottttt! Reigh f*cking Harrow is a rockstar, she built her career from the ground up, coming from the streets and becoming one of the greatest rockstars in the music world. Until she finds her world crumbling, everything she thought she knew was a lie and only another PR scheme to look good for the media using her as a crutch. Reign was destroyed after all the hurt and betrayal but that only made her come back even stronger. After returning renewed and ready to finally make the world see who she really was, her PR management hires 4 high-end bodyguards for her safety. Raff, Dal, Cillian, and Astro are some of the best in the world, being ex-military and as dangerous as they can get, they are ready to do their job with everything they have and after meeting Reign, the concern for her safety deepens even more after realizing Reign was in more danger than they thought.
I'm absolutely obsessed with this world and I loved every second of this story! I can't wait to see Beck's book next and her story with her band and hopefully another delicious RH. Katie is one of my go-to authors and I love everything she writes. Her books always captivate me in a way that is addicting! Revolt was super steamy, fun, HOT, and a page-turner....more

"Today, the gods will realize that they cannot control death. It answers to only one master--her."
Oh. My. God! This book!!! Avea, I don't blame you one bit, I'd fold too for the God of Death. Wow. Court of Death was absolutely amazing! If you read Court of Nightmares, you're already familiar with the God of Death, since he had a part in the first book, and when I saw he would have his own book I was literally counting down the days until I could get my hands in it. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I seriously could not stop reading! Anyway, a little bit about the story...
Avea is a mystery even for herself, she doesn't know where she came from and how she ended up in the magical forest that allowed her to stay. She knew she was half vampyr, but she did not know whatever else she was, only that she could feel she was different and had more hiding within her. Throughout the book, she'll discover more and more of her past and finally be able to understand more of who she really is, with the help of someone she never expected to be an ally. Death.
Death is... death. He is called by many names but no one really knows the deeper parts of himself until Avea comes along. After taking care of souls for millennia, Death never imagined there was more to it than his duty. What he always thought was a weakness, emotions, feelings, love, will end up being his greatest strength.
This book was absolutely amazing! I loved every second of it and I was so sad when I finished, I really loved it. I already know I'll be rereading it soon and I can't wait to add this beautiful book to my collection, along with Court of Nightmares, which I highly recommend everyone to read before this one. These are interconnected standalone books but the experience is so much better knowing some of the characters already. I loved it! 5 stars for sure!...more

First, I need to say I feel really bad about leaving a low rating review but as I signed up for the ARC of this book, I have to be honest in my review. Before I say anything though, I highly recommend that the author put her author's note at the beginning of the book because in her note she explains her vision of the book and it kind of makes sense, but she should disclose that at the beginning otherwise, the book will seem really rushed and confusing to new readers, which can make them dnf or leave a low rate review because of it.
Anyway, this book did not do it for me. 1.5 stars is the highest I would go for it. I was interested in this book because of the Scream, Ghostface vibe that the author advertised, along with the MM romance and the whole cult plot. However, for me, this book did not deliver what was promised. First, it cannot be considered an MM, it literally only had 1 scene between the guys and it was super short, nothing worth mentioning. So, it is an MFM book for sure. Eisley is definitely the opposite of what a Final Girl means to me. She was weak, mellow, and had no backbone. Her friends would be mean as hell to her and she would still be worried and cry for them when they literally just want to profit off of her trauma and connection to the cult. Constantine and Kansas were the ones held captive with Eisley in the basement. They were carbon copies of each other, there was barely any difference between them, no character build, just same guy, different features. Their interaction with Eisley was also childish and weird, in my opinion. Anyway, I seriously believe this book was advertised completely wrong, it should've been a Frankestein-style book. All the Scream/Ghostface that were marketed were not there, which was the reason most of the readers even signed up for the book. I didn't want to dive too deep into the book because I didn't want to bash it and I want people to experience it with their own opinions. Sadly, I did not like this book, I was really looking forward to this read and I'm just disappointed. ...more

Oh my God... I can't stop bawling my eyes out! This book... Dear God, Jescie, this book wrecked me! I thought I was ready after reading one of your most emotional books, Hawke, but hell no I was not ready. In every single scene with Colin, I broke down, I seriously could feel the love and care Dylan had for her brother. It was soooo profound, so heartbreakingly beautiful, God, I just know I'll never recover from this book and I'll reread this as much as I possibly can. It was seriously one of the most beautiful and touching books I've read in forever. The emotional load of this story was so deep.
Lake was a famous football player, an up and coming athlete that was quickly becoming one of the best. Until an injury took him out of the game. But that did not break him, his determination and will to reach his goal made him look for the best physiotherapist out there, the one that helped another player that got back on the field faster than anyone expected and that's exactly what Lake needed. His reasonings behind his rush to go back to the field were deeper than anyone thought and so so beautiful. He was working hard but not for himself, he was trying to make the most important person in his life proud of him.
Dylan was a physiotherapist on the rise, she was smart and went above and beyond to provide the best care for her patients with the goal of reaching high into the NFL and working with a therapy team there. But, just as Lake, she didn't want the dream job, the big league job for the money, no, she had a lot more riding behind that, someone that needed and depended on her more than anyone realized. She was a rock, the strongest person out there fighting for a chance and a life her and her person deserved.
Lake and Dylan were as much opposites as they were similar. They were both determined as h*ll, both worked hard for what they wanted and both had a lot more to lose than they expected. But, life always happens in a way we don't expect, and these two will go through a lot until finding their place.
This book was absolutely amazing! I loved every second of it and I could not put it down, I read whenever I had the time and stayed up late as much as I could. Was I a mess at work the next days? Sure was, but it was so worth it!! I seriously went to sleep with a smile on my face because this story was so beautiful. I sobbed so many times like a baby, I literally carried a box of tissues with me because I knew I'd be bawling my eyes out sooner than expected. It was heartbreakingly beautiful, I loved it with all my heart. Really, I'm at a loss of word to express how beautiful, profound and amazing this book was. So so good!

The way I seriously could not put this book down and read it till 3 am last night!!! It was THAT good! Twisted Hearts is a dark mafia enemies-to-lovers romance, it's filled with tension and action packed that makes the book a page-turner. This book can be read as a standalone but I HIGHLY recommend everyone to read the whole series because all the books are so so good, they were all 5 stars for me. Each book is centered on a different couple but they are all interconnected.
In this book we have Eilish and Gavan. Eilish is Neve's younger sister (Neve is in book 1) and Gavan is the head of the Bratva mafia (we also see a little bit of Gavan in book 3) but these two together, holy hotness!!! Eilish is the definition of good girl, she always went out of her way to be good, be the good sister, the good friend and the good niece to Cillian, the head of the Irish mafia. However, what she thought no one knew was the reason why she tried to be so good, but Gavan knew. He knew the secret that Eilish thought she would take it to her grave and that changed everything.
This book is action packed, intense, HOT and so so good!! I devoured it and I loved every second of it!! I'm sad it's over but I'm excited for book 5 about Castle and Callie, I can't wait to see what happens there! If you like dark 'touch her and d!e' heroes and strong heroines, this book is for you. It was definitely a 5 star for me and I'm already adding it to my favorites. Gaven is seriously EVERYTHING! I'm obsessed with him and I just know I will be thinking about this book for a loooong time. ...more
