3 1/2 to 4 stars
I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed reading Fantastical. This book definitely had a fairytale feel to it and reminded me somewhat of Disney's Enchanted, which I love.
The hero, Noctorno (Tor), and heroine, Cora, were delightful together. I especially loved Cora's use of the current American slang. It added a certain authenticity to the book that isn't necessarily common in time travel or paranormal plots.
I will admit that there were times I felt the storyline became a bit convoluted and confusing, and I felt I was left with more questions than answers. However, that may be due to the fact I didn't read the first two books in the series. Go figure!
Other than that, I had a great time reading this very entertaining and sexy book.

It's a cute book. Not my favorite KA book but it was fun and entertaining.

Thank you, Karla. I'm now all caught up on writing reviews. It's such a good feeling to be caught up.

Not me...I have about 6 to do, and I hope to get them all by this weekend.

You've had a very stressful week. Why not worry about writing them when you have the time and energy. Trust me, they're not going anywhere. Lol.

Me too!! Nice review, Kristen!!

Good review K! You must read the first 2. The Golden Dynasty is controversial but IMO, she pulled it off with everything bad that happens.
Thank you, Amanda. I plan to read them. There is no doubt it would have been best to read the books in order. Lol.
Great review Kristen. I haven't read any from this series but do have The Golden Dynasty. I don't read many PNR Fantasy, but heck, this is KA:)
Lovely review Kristen. Now it was a long time since I last read a book by KA, perhaps time soon. Good to see you here again. :))
Thank hon. It's good to be back. I'm not sure how this review showed up in my feeds. I read it last year and didn't repost it. I moved in to a different shelf. Maybe that's how. Hmmmm

Thank Dhes. I read this last year. Somehow it ended up on my feeds (I added it to another shelf but I added other books that didn't go through my feed at the same time. It's weird). It must be the "feed fairies" at work. Lol. Anyway, I still think about this book a year later. I probably should raise the rating. I have some books I've rated 4 1/2 stars and I can't for the life of me remember much about those books. Lol.
