Thor: For Asgard

For Asgard is for fans of Thor in...well, Asgard.
I'm not one of those fans, so this sucked Big Time for me. I've never really been into Thor's adventures on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Running around in animal pelts, and fighting goblins (or whatever) is just not my thing. Yay for you, if that's what you enjoy.
The art could have been cool, but something was just off about it. It was distracting and weird. Almost like someone had spilled water on the pages, so that everything looked annoyingly blurry. Oh, and in one pannel, Thor had a boob. Yeah. Just one. How do you not notice that when you're drawing it?! Ugh.

Yes I saw that too...embarrassing
I enjoyed it. I like reading Norse mythology as a hobby, and the references in the comic were enjoyable to me. In all, I feel this was more meant for fans of mythological Thor, rather than the comic book Thor
That's probably true, Daniel. I've never been a fan of the Asgard stories in the comics, which pretty much proves your point. I'm glad you liked it, though!
I kind of enjoyed the way Balder died, as strange as it sounds lol. According to the original mythology (if I am remembering this right), Odin wanted Balder to live forever (because Balder was the god of forgiveness and mercy...the most innocent creature in all the nine worlds), so he convinced almost every single thing to not kill him except for Mistletoe (because it was the least threatening thing in Odin's mind), and Loki made an arrow out of it, and shot him. It was Balder's Achille's heel lol. It is kind of odd, but seeing it actually happen was a little interesting, even though it was sad. It also explains why the world ran amuck in the comic, since the god of forgiveness and peace was replaced by the god of war
See, you're making me ALMOST want to re-read this and give it a second chance. It's fantastic that you know that much about the real Norse mythology, Daniel!
