Lexi Anderson is a TV decorator who has recently moved to a new place with her two children. Kyle Miller is a famous writer that Lexi's kids adore and who happens to live right next to their house. Sounds like a perfect fairytale... but the first encounter between Kyle and Lexi does not seem like the perfect one!

This was a very cute novella. There were lots of funny moments, but also a very touching part. I liked how the protagonists’ relationship grew and became something more special than a friendship, though I was a little perplexed because everything happened in about a week. It felt a little weird but nonetheless it was lovely.

I loved what Lexi did for Kyle and his family, and I especially loved Lexi’s children. They were adorable and I think the story would have been less engaging without them. Their candour was totally endearing!

A contemporary, sweet Christmas read that I highly recommend to romance lovers!
