We learn as the book progresses that the tragic beginning of an artist life has brought forth a presence that is with him constantly. We are given to believe it is a “guardian angel.” He has given the presence the name of Keeper!
The reader learns more as the artist is kidnapped by a narcissistic serial killer with his own voices in his head! Central to this story are two women who set out to rescue the artist. A nun who believes the presence in her head is the voice of God and a journalist who feels it’s the Universes power. You see the Keeper finds out that it can enter others minds and share images, impressions and it’s thoughts.
The author brings this all together in an engaging, entertaining story that worked for me. In the end we find out who the Keeper really is and why he feels so protective of the artist!

It’s a change from the typical crime and mystery thrillers! This one pits brother and sister against each other each having the ability of delivering life or death with a touch or whispered words, the realization of a third sibling, and one member within reach of the second highest office in the States!
This flows smoothly from beginning to end, great character development, good action scenes, sibling rivalry at its best! I briefly wondered how a person running for VP of the US could keep their past hidden as one character is able to do here. That pondered, I moved on and it didn’t distract from the entertaining storyline! T.F. Allen has moved onto my list of authors to follow and look forward to his future works!
