If you want to hate-read it, go for it but otherwise. No. Just no.

The concept was interesting, the flashbacks to older generations were great but I found the writing too dry.
I'm not a huge fan of historical fiction but I hoped the the rest would compensate, which it mostly did. I'm not sure it needed to be a series but I might still read the next book....more

Honestly its' probably because the writing, themes and representation (intersex main character this time!) are awesome. I just don't think I'm the right audience (except book 4, I loved book 4!).
Unicorns, horses and centaurs fans and middle grade readers (not sure if it's officially how it's categorized but it read like one to me!) will love it!...more
