To be clear, this book only contains oral sex and it’s minimal. But the whole book is just BSDM exploration.
I love that this book isn’t trying to be something it’s not. It’s unsure and curious. It shows that anyone can be curious or involved in certain kinks while not requiring it to change who they are otherwise. There are plenty of people that engage in kinks that may require dabbling in other sexual identities but that doesn’t mean your own orientation changes.
I love everything about this book. It’s fairly mild in terms of smut but it is heavy in kink. ...more
This book is so short and I just wanted so much more in the best way possible. I wanted more of Eli and Alexei and I wasn’t ready for it to be over.

Jaehee is a famous American/Korean actor in Australia to promote a movie. While there he meets Seb, an environmental activist/bike shop owner, and they hit it off immediately. What was supposed to be one night and one time becomes two. Unfortunately, the circumstances of their lives don't allow for more than that...until they do.
I wish this was longer. Like way longer. Yes, the spicy is spicing, but it was more about the romance and the relationship than the smut. This is only like 60 pages but the emotions are palpable.
This was just so cute and sweet and all of the other adjectives for cute and sweet. It felt like a single ray of sun on a rainy day, only there for a second.
If you like plot heavy novellas, this is for you!
I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this is my honest and voluntary review!...more

It sets up the series nicely by introducing the Lost Boys and explaining how they come to be while still remaining focussed on our two MMC's (who are not technically Lost Boys, but adjacent).
While this wasn't very in depth, it does read as a cozy, "neighbor" to lover, hilarious social media flirting, great and spicy novella. If you need something that is zero angst, quick to read and makes you happy, this is it.
It didn't reinvent the wheel but it is very much a cozy, happy-feely book. ...more

Alexander and Mila decide to bring in a third for some fun. That fun lies with Christian, the guy that has been crushing on Alexander for a while. It’s a bad idea for a dozen reasons but does that stop them? You know the answer to that ...more
I’ve never wanted a book to be longer more in my life. It’s been all of five minutes since I finished this book and I want more — nay, I NEED more.

I’m in my age gap era and figured this would be a good, spicy little novella to fill my time with. ✨WRONG✨
This book is everything. It fully encompasses the events and feelings of a full length novel within the limitations of a novella. I knew Sara Cate was good. But this? Whew. I checked the page count a few times just to be sure this wasn’t a novel. That sounds weird but if you read it, you’ll get it. It has everything. The main portion of the book wasn’t rushed at all. It felt so natural and cozy in its pacing while maintaining the angst and spice we need. I felt the same feelings I would feel while reading a 400 page book, just at turbo speed and without losing content. I don’t really know how Sara does it.
The blurb is fairly all encompassing so I’m not going to blab about the content of the book. You get it.
My only gripe is that I want it to be longerrrrr. I want the gap between the end of the main portion and the epilogue to be written. I want those years in writing please (maybe plus some). Pax and Thomas are just it.
NOW: do you have to live in a land of suspended reality a bit? Sure. But this is romance fiction and we all live in fantasy land on some level. ...more
Book 4 is here y'all. I've been waiting for this. We had our time with Rex and Devon, then book 3 with Cal and Mac. I loved seeing them come together Book 4 is here y'all. I've been waiting for this. We had our time with Rex and Devon, then book 3 with Cal and Mac. I loved seeing them come together and form their own little survival family. This novella is as short as the others, but this one felt so much better. I thought the second was my favorite, then I read the third, and now that I've read the fourth, i'm torn.
All four books happen in the same timeline and in sequence with each other. This book immediately follows the end of book two AND the end of book three (2&3 happening concurrently). This book begins with the fallout of the third book (when Cal comes back) and then Rex and Devon appear after the issues that take place in book two.
This one has more action than the others in terms of actual survival and violence, so mind that if it is sensitive for you.
I am always surprised by how much plot and world building E.V. Olsen is able to squeeze into 40-60 page novellas. They are able to create a functioning world while pandering to the smut that we need. I am feral for everything they write at this point and am looking forward to the Jackles/Colt and the other series that is coming out.

It follows Rex and Devon as they try to make it in the wasteland that has become the world. This book also introduces Mac (and Cal) who we meet in book 3. In this book we see Devon step up and show his skill while Rex is incapacitated. Usually it is Rex protecting Devon, but this book swaps the roles out of necessity.
Out of the two books of Devon and Rex, this one is my favorite. Devon is a spicy dude with a world of attitude but I probably would too.
The only thing I have against this book is that I wish that Devon opened up to Rex about the stuff from his past. We get mentions of it, but he never really opens up, he just keeps shutting down.
Anywho, I love this series. Read it. Okay bye. ...more
