A frustrating tale of 'meeting the right person at the wrong time' that spans 10 years.
I loved each and every one of the characters, and I was so completely invested that I couldn't put it down for even a minute.
Absolutely perfect for a cold December night....more

My mind is all over the place, what an unexpected surprise from Colleen Hoover!
A romantic thriller, that absolutely blew my mind, creeped me the heck out, and got me hot under the collar all in the space of a few pages. When I first began to read Verity, I admit that I wasn't too sure what all the fuss was about, I wasn't really sure where it was going, but then boom, it led me into a weird and wonderful rabbit hole of craziness.

My kryptonite is a slow burn romance, add a heroine who thinks she is a plain jane when she clearly isn't, and a sexy arrogant athlete (who also happens to be Scottish), and I am in a place where I hear angels sing and I am laying on a fluffy cloud.
I absolutely adore a journey through the many changes of a new relationship. In this case, it's an enemies-to friends-to unrequited love-to lovers-to actual full-blown love. It was a fabulous ride to be on, and whilst it was funny, sweet, and sexy - it was also quite emotional.
Two perfectly imperfect main characters who find their way to each other through insecurities and a lack of real self-belief.
Cameron was the perfect champion - he saw the beauty in Joellen, as I the reader did, but most importantly he helped her see the beauty in herself that she couldn't see before and taught her that until she loved herself and stopped pleasing others to her own detriment, she would never be happy.
Joellen, on the other hand, saw through Cameron's confidence and saw the really kind and generous soul beneath his media persona and I felt so bad for him when she could only see him as a friend, it was pure angst.
A fabulous book that teaches us that being our true selves is the only way to be truly happy.
I need more, I adore this series, and the talent of Geissinger has impressed me completely.

This was my first novel by Ella Maise, and I am extremely excited to read her future works if this is anything to go by, the writing was phenomenal! I was gripped, I became so attached to these characters and their struggles. I literally couldn't keep the smile off my face whilst reading this.
Dylan is the star of the Football team who's main priority is his future career and the upcoming draft. He absolutely cannot have any distractions so it's quite unfortunate that Zoe is introduced as his new roommate. She is going through a lot of emotional turmoil, but she can't help but hope for a future where she can be a normal college girl doing normal things. When they become the best of friends, Zoe feels safe with Dylan and they form a great relationship, despite her secrets and issues.
Whilst this story starts off as fun and sweet, it transitions into something quite serious and moving.
A perfect sports romance in my humble opinion.

Tiebreaker is a love/hate, second chance romance that is told from dual POV between Tennis star Maren, and her childhood sweetheart, Noah, who cheated on her back in high school.
She returns home 10 years later after the death of her beloved grandfather, where she finds out that Noah is her new business partner and she's stuck with him for the foreseeable future.
What I loved most about it was the tension and the sexual chemistry that simmered underneath all the hate emanating from Maren - a very engaging story that ended with a decent amount of grovelling from the Hero. An added bonus was her relationship with her sister, who was the perfect side character to help give us some humour and lightheartedness amongst the angst.

This story is a very unconventional love triangle and had I known that beforehand, I probably wouldn't have picked it up since I was totally not in the mood for the angst and despair that often comes with these types of books. However, if I had listened to my gut instinct then I would be kicking myself right now because it truly was a spectacular piece of work.
In my opinion, Jewel E. Ann writes the most swoon-worthy and soul-deep beautiful heroes - in this duet she gave us two! But there was one that really stole my heart and I felt so much of his pain and emotions that it was as if he had come to life in the pages.
Very reminiscent of the Jack & Jill Series, lots of twists, plenty of ups and downs, and wonderful characters that will be remembered.

Stella is a statistician, she loves numbers and order, but due to the fact that she has high functioning autism, she really has no idea how to navigate the tricky subject of sex and boyfriends.
Enter Michael, an escort who Stella hires to help her learn how to deal with men with more ease.
I just loved the way Michael dealt with Stella's eccentricities, he understood her so well and it was plain to see from the start that he was going to be the perfect man for her! And perfect he was, I especially loved seeing him with his family, he had the biggest heart <3
What starts as a fake relationship, turns into friends to lovers - lots of butterflies whilst reading this one, and when the sexy times appeared, then WOAH! It was pure chemistry.
Such a refreshing read, I cannot wait to see more from Helen Hoang, this debut makes me so excited for what's to come.
