He is an orange-skinned Troll with blond hair, a lavender nose and brown eyebrows. He wears blue shorts with a green strap across his left shoulder.

- Rudy appeared on the DreamWorks Trolls website in late 2016 after the release of Trolls, and wasn't part of the original movie concepts. He was made to be part of the post-Trolls toyline.[1]
- He was likely named after Rudy York, who famously broke Baseball legend Babe Ruth's record of number of home runs in a month and was a member of the Detroit Tigers.
