Icona Pop is a Swedish electropop duo that formed in Stockholm in 2009, and is currently based in the United States. Its members, Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt, are the respective voice actresses of Satin & Chenille in Trolls, Trolls World Tour and Trolls Band Together.
Biography[]
Jawo and Hjelt attended the same music school, but they met by chance at a party in February 2009 and formed Icona Pop shortly after.
The duo had their breakthrough in 2012 with the single "I Love It", which served as a pre-release to their self-titled debut studio album. They would later release their second album, This Is... Icona Pop, in 2013.
