Falcon's Twin Guns are side and wrist-mounted weapons on the EXO-7 Falcon which are Sam Wilson's main weapons.

History[]

Falcon shoots and kills HYDRA's soldiers

In their attempt to prevent HYDRA's Helicarriers from being launched, and Project Insight being activated, Falcon had rejoined Captain America in a battle over the Triskelion. With the Helicarriers rising up, Falcon flew overhead, avoiding gunfire from HYDRA's forces, before he armed himself with his twin guns and flew down, kicking over one HYDRA soldier, before spinning around and shooting another.

However, the arrival of HYDRA's Quinjet forced Falcon to fly away before he could complete his mission, avoiding the Quinjet's gunfire. Having been knocked to the ground by an explosion, Falcon had then quickly recovered, spinning himself around and firing a few shots at the Quinjet, barely missing the pilots, while he jumped off the Helicarrier, deploying his EXO-7 Falcon to continue avoiding the Quinjet's gunfire and missiles.

Having escaped the Quinjet, Falcon rescued Captain America, who had been forced to jump off the Helicarrer, as Falcon caught him and flew him up to the next Helicarrier. However, they were then attack by the Winter Soldier, who pushed Captain America overpower before attacking Falcon, who shot at Winter Soldier. However, Winter Soldier tore off Falcon's wing and kicked him overboard, causing him to lose his twin guns.[1]

Duel at the Avengers Compound[]

Having learned that Ant-Man was attempting to break into the Avengers Compound, Falcon had been called upon to investigate it, leading to his confrontation with Ant-Man. As a fight broke out, Falcon was able to keep track of Ant-Man's location with his Combat Goggles, as he flew down to stop him. At one stage, Falcon had drawn his twin guns and shot at Ant-Man, who was able to avoid the gunshots by hiding on the gun itself, before disarming Falcon. Eventually, Falcon's EXO-7 Falcon was damaged and Ant-Man stole the Signal Decoy before escaping.[2]

On the mission to prevent Crossbones from stealing a biological weapon, Falcon joined the Avengers in battling Crossbones' mercenaries, who had raided the IFID Headquarters. Flying down into the battle, Falcon kicked down two of the mercenaries, before then spinning around while drawing his twin guns, shooting down the third mercenary, who fell down from the roof.

Falcon had then protected Wanda Maximoff, while she was extracting poisonous gas from the building, while Falcon shot back at Crossbones' mercenaries, using his EXO-7 Falcon as a shield. Eventually, Falcon had cleared through the mercenaries by shooting his missile at them, before they continued on with the mission, retrieving the biological weapon, as Crossbones was killed but still took the lives of several civilians.[3]

Having learned that Vision was under attack by the Black Order, all of the remaining Avengers had reassembled to save him, with Falcon flying down kicking Proxima Midnight over, while Captain America and Black Widow had also taken down Corvus Glaive. Falcon had then aimed his twin guns at the Black Order, who escaped by teleporting back onboard their Q-Ship.[4]

Battle of Wakanda[]

During the battle against the Black Order's army of Outriders, Falcon had flown above the charging army, shooting down upon them with his twin guns, avoiding Outriders that had attempted to rip him out of sky, while also using Redwing to fight through them. As the Black Order sent out Threshers to slaughter their forces, Falcon flew alongside, shooting at the Thresher with his Twin Guns, while War Machine helped to destroy it.

Falcon was alerted to the arrival of Thanos, who arrived there to rip the Mind Stone out of Vision to complete his Infinity Gauntlet. Falcon charged at Thanos with his allies, shooting his twin guns at the Mad Titan, only for Thanos to use the Power Stone to knock Falcon out of the sky. Thanos had then killed Vision and caused the Snap, which had killed Falcon along with trillions of lives, with his twin guns being lost as a result.[4]

Capabilities[]

The guns are a collapsible pair of dual Steyr SPP submachine guns. Falcon can easily conceal them on his uniform. When the superhero joined the Avengers, Falcon began using one Steyr SPP in conjunction with a wrist-mounted submachine gun as part of his new uniform. He returned to using two Steyr SPPs by the Attack in Lagos, and continued to use them during the Infinity War.
