I think the best thing about actually doing it (writing a book and self-publishing) is that I actually enjoyed every step of the process.

Each stage was fun for me - writing the book, sending it for feedback, finding a graphic designer for my cover, finding a copyeditor, and then tinkering with Kindle Create. If you have a desire to be a writer, you may actually find that work very enjoyable.

It is strange in that no one is pushing me to do this. I really want to do it. And each morning when I wake up, the first thing I do is to work on it. I am working hard, simply because I find it worthwhile.(less)

How do I get my book out there?

On the 16th of August 2019, there was a sudden spike in sales. Usually, I don't get any sales at all, but suddenly on that day, there were more than 100 purchases.

What did I do? I scratched my head and cannot pinpoint anything in particular I did that was different. I have been on a campaign since I started a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/GraduateStud... (P Read more of this blog post »

“Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism. Confronting your fears and allowing yourself the right to be human can, paradoxically, make yourself a happier and more productive person.”
