I've been writing since before I could actually spell and published my first poem when I was fifteen. I grew up in Cincinnati and went on to study education at Miami University of Ohio. Currently, I live with my cat, Luna, on the outskirts of Philadelphia, where I write all the things.

As of September 2017, I also maintain the website A Writer Reads (https://awriterreads.com/), where I review diverse books for the benefit of teachers, librarians, parents, and students.

Hey, everyone! I'm still alive and kicking, let me assure you. I've been more active one my Facebook page than over here on my Goodreads profile, but I'm still checking in all the time. If you ever have any questions, either place is fine for asking.

In addition, I've also started a new website, A Writer Reads (https://awriterreads.com/)! I'll be reading and reviewing diverse books for middle- and Read more of this blog post »

Megan Anderson Hmm...I feel bad reading graphic novels to hit my 2009 goal of 250 books. I'm only doing the first book so I don't completely pad the total, but I still kinda need to read more actual novels. Not that graphic novels aren't legitimate fiction or anything, and I know a lot of kids like them, but I just feel like I'm cheating, y'know?

Okay! I will finish a "real" book today! I will I will I will! (goes, grabs one, and subsequently falls asleep on the couch)
