4:44 (album)4:44 – "4:44" redirects to "4:44 Last Day on Earth", which is completely unrelated. 2601:8C:4001:DCB9:C16A:443E:A64D:D03B (talk) 02:30, 24 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Resources

[edit]

This article from the Fader has some info on the song 4:44, but I don't know how to integrate it into the article in a encyclopedic manner, heh. "4:44 is an apology track to Beyonce". Figured I'd post it here as a possible resource --Jennica / talk 09:57, 30 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This Rolling Stone article may also be a good resource, however, I am not good at wording things sometimes and I don't know where to incorporate it. It's not a review. --Jennica / talk 23:53, 30 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

iHeartRadio

[edit]

It is also available there Billboard article. But I don't know how to add it, since the article says "Tidal-Sprint exclusive." Cornerstonepicker (talk) 22:04, 30 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Cornerstonepicker: I believe it's already covered. Under the Release section, I added the iHeartRadio info in the third sentence. :) --Jennica / talk 22:07, 30 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
My bad, thx Cornerstonepicker (talk) 22:11, 30 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Class

[edit]

Since the album has been released, it should no longer be rated Future class. I recommend changing it to start class, but as a new, inexperienced user, that decision isn't up to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dudeofawe (talkcontribs) 18:08, 1 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Dudeofawe: - Changed to B class, since that seems right. Also, don't forget to sign your signature to posts --Jennica / talk 04:15, 2 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Album cover

[edit]

I recommended it be ported to Commons, since it's not eligible for copyright. It was and there is a problem with the thumbnail. See phab:T169678. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:32, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

tagging @BU Rob13:. He said the thumbnail would be cleared up within "a day or so". --Jennica / talk 22:12, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Koavf and Jennica: Currently, the album appears fine to me, and I had considered it fixed. Is that not the case for you? If not, please try clearing your cache and looking again. ~ Rob13Talk 22:52, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@BU Rob13: I am still seeing the alt text (which I wrote). Even after a Ctrl+Shift+R refresh and using https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=4:44_(album)&action=purge. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 23:16, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@BU Rob13: I cleared my cache and it still shows up as broke.. however, it does show up in Microsoft Edge [not my preferred browser].--Jennica / talk 23:20, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This is very, very odd. I have no idea what's going on, but it's being tracked as a Phabricator task, so people smarter than I are looking into it. ~ Rob13Talk 00:41, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The wording of the lead sentence describing the album as Jay-Z's "fourteenth studio album and thirteenth solo album" is based on consistency with Jay-Z and Kanye West albums post-Watch the Throne describing the album in this way. This wording is the subject of a discussion at Talk:The_Life_of_Pablo#Request_for_comment. The input of any interested editors is sought. Cjhard (talk) 05:16, 6 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Watch the Throne is a Jay Z album regardless whether or not it's collaborative or solo. The lead may be unfavorable to readers since it's just too long and redundant. The collaborative album should be included in the count. The solo album count doesn't matter and should be removed, the difference is just one album. If the difference is huge, then it might be reasonable to add but it's not. - TheMagnificentist 17:37, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

4:44 (album)4:44 – Already redirects here. Therefore this is already the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC and currently uses unnecessary disambiguation. The last RM was two years ago, before the RD target was changed to this album. If not this move, then a disambiguation page should be made at 4:44. Lazz_R 12:20, 26 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
