- In many Slavic and other languages, Folk music is called Traditional or Folklore music (ru: традиционная, народная, фольклорная музыка). And Contemporary folk music is called Folk (ru: фолк, фолк-музыка). Do not mix these concepts. --Лобачев Владимир (talk) 10:55, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
