William Bibbiani TheWrap Still cloyingly derivative and relatively shallow, especially compared to their most obvious influences. Aug 2, 2024 Full Review Joshua Polanski There Were No Gods Left Snyder challenges that binary in Rebel Moon and in doing so uncovers a truth about heroism that the superhero movies never arrived at: heroism is something you do; it’s not who you are. Sep 8, 2024 Full Review Cris Kennedy Inner East Review What I like about these two films were the things I liked about the original versions, a certain homage to those fantastical Frazetta illustrations... They're still long and self-indulgent, only now two hours more so. Rated: 3/5 Aug 14, 2024 Full Review Ankit Ojha Cinema Elite “Rebel Moon – Chapter Two: Curse of Forgiveness” is bone-crunching, heartwrenching, and chest-thumping madness that tears at you emotionally while its characters tear at each other limb from limb. Rated: 5/5 Aug 11, 2024 Full Review Armond White National Review The Rebel Moon saga seemed praiseworthy for Snyder’s victory over industry interference, yet these compleat “director’s cuts” reproduce the usual industry clichés. Aug 9, 2024 Full Review Johnny Loftus Decider Rebel Moon Part Two: Director’s Cut at times suffers from somehow doing too much and too little at the same time. But there is more clarity to what’s at stake for our heroes... Aug 9, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Paul K I survived the first 45 minutes but decided my time is too valuable for this museum of old skills. I don't need to learn how to make my own bread. I Though i normally appreciate long and explicit porno scenes, i didn't fully understand this one. It is too complicated and i didn't expect it in this sci-fi movie. Meant to impress the movie starts off very slow. I already learnt from the reviews i won't miss anything if i scroll forward to the last 30%. I do not expect to see the rest of it any time soon. And no, the cute little princess is not really dead. We all saw the hesitation before the shot was fired. "Stunning" i'd say. Expect her to pop up again in part 3, but more feminin mature and probably wearing a leather catsuit. That's where i'm going to pick up this saga again. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/13/24 Full Review Alternative E Amazing. Can't wait fir part 3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/09/24 Full Review Ezekiel S First I watched the Netflix version of part one and I felt all through the movie, I was missing details. It did not land and I'd have rated it a 2, nice idea but ultimately forgettable. When I saw the director's cut or part 2 released I held off until I could marathon both Synder cuts together and I have to say the movies hit far harder and better when you have a complete picture and I found my self touched and emotionally invested in the films in a way that was the complete opposite to the Netflix version. The first director's version, I liked, though it was overly long, but I'd give that cut a 3. Still missing the emotional investment in the characters. However the second brought all the build up home and I made the connection, the people of the village were real, their heroes believable but not immortal and I found my self rooting for the clear underdog and waiting for Anthony Hopkin's Jimmy to make an entrance and save them as his character now had a clear defined point! So if you have a choice, watch the Director's cuts, they're just far and away superior in every way you could want! Hope he gets to make the third part his way, but I'll wait to watch the Director's version and not spoil it anything else, at least for an adult is a waste of time and energy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/08/24 Full Review Audience Member I liked this movie. Please make part 3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/06/24 Full Review Roman B Everything about this Director's Cut was much improved. It was a completely different experience. Writing, dialogue, plot that was lacking in the Netflix cuts are so much better. The new scenes and rating made for a much satisfying conclusion. Are hope there is a part 3 and 4. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/06/24 Full Review Dacia C I wish Netflix would have released this version first. It's such a better movie. What Zack intended was amazing. Even being a longer movie, the pacing is great. The action, the plot, everything was improved. Loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/06/24 Full Review Read all reviews
