This review/rating is just for the 3 m/m romance stories.

A Star-Crossed Christmas by V.L. Locey
Very sweet story of second chances and taking a childhood friendship to another level. I've not read the series this book is attached to but it had no impact on my enjoyment.

Dallas Christmas by RJ Scott - Lovely second chance romance. This one made me tear up at times.

Holding On Tight by Susan Scott Shelley - Established couple celebrating their first Christmas together and everything goes wrong. No need to have read their previous story (although I'm curious enough to consider picking it up). Slightly angsty with a HEA.

I loved this story, i felt the author really drew you in. It is a romance story, the 'mother earth' story develops more as the series continues but i think in this book the author is laying the groundwork for all the relationships between the 6 friends.
I read book two almost immediately after this one, it does end on a cliff hanger, events take place and these are not resolved until the end of book two. It felt like reading one book(reading book 1 and 2 together. The events in the two books sort of overlap so it works, although there is no endless retelling of the same events.
One point, they shower endlessly. Every now and again someone goes and showers, i am all into being clean but this did make me laugh at times.
I hope for more in the series but the three books cover 6 friends that we are introduced to but there other characters we could learn about or even other districts that have units. I am hoping.
