"Author Eric Hartzell traces (the Baptist churches) history back to 17th century England. He describes their Calvinistic roots and shows that, by contrast, most modern Baptists teach some form of "decision theology". "In 1893, German missionaries George Adascheck and John Plocher embarked on the very first WELS world mission to the Apache people at the Fort Apache and San Carlos reservation. Featuring thought-provoking evangelism insights and a bit of humor, this book will inspire you to share God's love and the truth of the gospel with the people around you, even across cultural boundaries."… (more)

Excellent. Eric Hartzell has a great talent in painting pictures with words. These Old Testament books come alive and become much more understandable from this well written commentary. Thank you, Pastor Hartzell.
