I tried to delve into the psyche of the author as to what compelled her to tell such a complex story with a string of complicated characters. After every few pages I need to return to the date and time and name of a particular incident involving a certain character to make sense of what is happening in the current chapter. Inter-linked and woven into each other scenes and it is taking me ages to get through the book.
