I sorta me'd about quite a bit of this book. I didn't generally like the characters, they were okay. The angst over-load was too much for me, for eg, it's not bad enough to have one family member die tragically, but we need 3 to die tragically. The characters don't actually meet until 73 pages in/20% of the way through. It was all just a little... bland with a little to much drama. That said, it was nicely written, there wasn't anything that turned me off reading, and it was generally okay.
