This author is an expert at writing stories that tug at your heart. Reese and Cooper, best friends since they were 8 years old and both ridiculously blind and oblivious to each other’s feelings. Reese always thought that Cooper never wanted her as something more but boy how wrong was she. Cooper was always her protector and in one way or another always chased guys that seemed to be getting too close to Reese but he never told her about his feelings. Until he realized that he was going to lose her forever. Cooper laid everything on the line hoping it wasn’t completely late and that he still had a chance. And Tessa?! Reese’s best friend is the best friend every girl needs. What she told Reese right at the ending speaks volume. This ball is in Reese’s court now and I can’t wait for book 2.
