Whilst I love this series, this book wasn't my favourite. It was certainly slightly unhinged, I'll give it that. There were certainly moments I loved. The pacing, I love the world and all the characters, I loved especially how close the friend group was in this book and Lyra and Silas, their little friendship was so freaking cute.

And I loved watching Lyra and Thatcher become two halves of one whole because that is truly what they are. I just wasn't as connected to them as I was to sage and rook but that was going to be hard and tough to beat.

I'm very excited to watch Thatcher and Lyra's connection grow in book four, the continuation of this book.
