Hot Shot (Taking the Shot #3)

I kind of felt like I fell into the middle of Dylan and Sebastian's story. She hated him for some reason and I was never really sure why. Her twin, Drew, is injured and she sticks up for her. Poof, her dreams of playing on the national team went up in smoke. She has a huge chip on her shoulder and seems to be only interested in taking her anger out on others. Bass steps up and tries to help her multiple times. I did like that he called her out on her ice queen drama. Both of them were trying to complete their senior year of college and win the title for their respective teams. It is true that women's teams are much less funded and not nearly as coveted at men's teams. I will say that I have been a hockey fan for my entire life so the ending for Dylan was just way too unrealistic for me to even pretend that would happen. There were several times where words were missing in sentences. I also had a few moments in this book where I was unsure who was speaking, and about whom they were speaking. I did like the book but wanted a bit more of seeing them grow together than the HFN I was left with.
