it was amazing

Hot Shot is book 3 of Taking The Shot series and is Dylan and Bass’ story.

Dylan Daniels along with her twin sister are the Queens of Lincoln U’s women’s ice hockey team and I like that we get the women’s take in a sports focused book this time, showing the cross-over in women’s/men’s teams, as the H in the book - Bass plays in the men’s team.

The characters have a past, knowing each other since they were kids, but unknown why to Bass, Dylan really doesn’t like him
and because of this they do their best to avoid each other, that is until coach tells Bass he needs to improve his grades or his NHL dreams could come crashing down and you’ve guessed it, Dylan is asked to tutor him.

As always with books by MJ, they take you through the emotions - laughter, wittiness, action and of course the spice and let’s not forget the side characters, who are integral to the story.

This series are all standalone books but as they’re inter-connected I do recommend reading them in order. Once again MJ you slayed this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
