Lol, i remember i read a quote from a Buddhist figure too, in the god delusion or something, that made me love Buddhism so much too at the time!
Yeah I think quotes from Buddhist figures are so enlightenning and wise and kind that for us who are from muslim countries they hit differrently because we're so not used to these types of teachings.

Yeah, it's so weird, the only people who are that kind and gracious in my Muslim country, are actually the archbishops of the church, they are so humble, and so peaceful, and for people looking from the outside at least, they never say something harmful or violent or bigoted, but probably Christians would know better, since i just read the occasional statement by them in dire times.
