QUOTES

Have you ever experienced something
So astonishingly beautiful,
You wanted nothing more
Than for that moment to be burned
And in your mind be born
Fresh once more?
The greatest second you will
Ever have on this earth is
The exact moment you fell
In love.

Imagine the first moment of color
But imagine it in this way-
You never know of anything
But black and white until you
Fall in love,  and then
She comes to you,
Like never before, stumbling
Drunk through the front door,
A hand full of purple and
Blue and red and yellow,
It is an offering,
A surrender,
"Here,
Have my heart,
Have my color."

I want to see what only the speed of light has time for.

I watch the dark green candle burn in its thick glass
as I try to fall asleep but sleep will not grant
me its reward.
Sometimes I think I love you too much.
You stand tall above my world in slow motion
Playing the part of a mountain that changes its
Shape every time my heart shakes.
At night I dream we walk together in forests
Of evergreen and
climb trees pretending to be things
only a child I can manifest.

it has always been you.
There is no one else.

Will you walk with me
hand in hand
on days
when the rain feels like soft bullets pressed
to my porcelain skin?
