Rachel is back and ready to take on the new master vampire of Cincinnati, who is clearly insane. Ruling by fear, the new master vampire is throwing her fangs and strength around. It is up to Rachel and her friends to save the city from itself again. Okay, this is the Rachel I know and love. I don't know what was going on in the last book, but glad it is not crossing over. Still, the lack of Ivy and Al was a downer. Still a great addition to the series.
