This was a lot deeper than I thought... God, I almost gave up a few times because of some dark parts, or I was just too sensible or feeling too much while reading the story.

This was not the usual stepbrother romance, it was a lot more meaningful than that. Rose and Spider had a really deep connection, meeting when they were both kids for a minute, it changed Rose's life completely. She had a rough childhood and did the best she could with the circumstances she lived with.
Spider was a wild card, he also had some demons in the past and tried hard to keep them at bay with drugs, partying, and drinking. He never had a reason to stop using it or try life in a better way until Rose.

This book was sweet but had some dark parts, like when Spider used something and made him different. But otherwise, their romance story was good, slow burn and I couldn't wait for them to be together. I love this author and I'll definitely read more of her books.
