it was ok
bookshelves: 2020

Either I don't know how to pick them or my friends have grossly exaggerated about how awesome Nora Roberts is!
This entire book was meh. The characters were boring and one dimensional. The writing was so-so. Does anyone want to suggest me some decent books by this author before I write her off?? I'd be extremely grateful.

Els The 'Bride Quartet' are the first books I read from this author and I liked them very much. And I was thinking about this serie but now I'm not sure anymore.

peachygirl Thanks Els. Will check it out :)

Rebekah This trilogy was my least fav NR, and I've read most of her books.

Apoorva I'd recommend the In Death series by her, written under her pen-name JD Robb. It irritates me and pleases me in the same measure sometimes, but I love the mystery part of it because I like guessing on who the actual criminal is. The romance will feel pretty insta in the starting two three books but then they are just relationship goals and I find that to enjoy her books, I have to be in a certain mood and I think that her mystery romance ones are good, though I haven't read the other ones tbh. Still, not every author is for everyone so if you don't end up liking it well there's nothing wrong with it!

Sorry for the verbal diarrhea there lol. 🙈😂

This is what I started with, so I'm not sure how to proceed! 😅

Thanks, will let you know ❤️

Kathleen the only book by Roberts that I totally unreservedly endorse is The Witness. That is a great book and an even better audiobook. I have only read about eight
