For my entire reading life, I strayed from horror and most scary reads, and would never venture into the writing of Stephen King, because I was a big wimp. But over the last year I have gradually built up my thriller love and the time finally came to read Salem’s Lot, also my third Stephen King this month!

What better time to read a vampire horror story than October. I loved this book so much. I am questioning my fears of big books and horror from this amazing author, and kicking myself for not reading this sooner! Officially hooked on King.
