This was ridiculous. It was incredibly self-indulgent and trite. It's incredible that someone read this collection of articles and said, "Hey! Let's turn this into a wildly funny, intelligent, and timely series that will win Emmys and Jill's Heart!" Avoid the book, rent the series.

Abigail Hillinger Candace Bushnell must be avoided at all costs. A few years back, I brought another one of her books on holiday--the only book I had--and it was so bad, I had to drive to a bookstore to get something else. Anything else. Thank God something transformed a shallow piece of junk into something I have a soft-spot for.

J I truly believe that if an author writes a book this bad you should be allowed to burn it on their front lawn.

Chassie hi

Daphne Christine Sarah jessica parker shouldnt even be on the cover. There is nothing from the book that translated to the screen other than a couple of names.
