If ‘I Put A Spell On You’ was a book, it would be this one.
It would be because of Kenan and Lotus. It would be because of what Kennedy Ryan has created.
“We’re stretching each other, absorbing each other. We’re falling in love.”
The woman is a poet, okay. She gets to the heart of her stories, the essence of her characters and their lives and they feel so unbelievably real that you are slightly left exhausted afterwards. Because you’re so invested in every way you could possibly be.
Better yet, I’m starring in this story. I’m right there. It’s happening in real-time.
“Look at her now. She arises from her desert of difficulty clinging to her beloved.”

The woman is a witch when it comes to her craft. She’s unreal.
Lotus and Kenan were unreal.
Fuck you, Kennedy Ryan. I mean that in the most loving way there is.

I really need to continue this series. I stopped after Long Shot because it was so emotional. I loved the book, I was just shook because Kennedy Ryan is such a powerful author.
