it was amazing

Taking Her is just another example of Mr. Banks unsurpassed talent. To me, there are a select group of Authors who display their creativity as well as versatility in every release. Mr Banks has consistently impressed me with his amazing mind time and again. Taking Her is an unbelievably addictive read that touches on so many important subjects you just wish you could shake this man's hand all while patting him on the back. While I try immensely hard never to give away the plot, there are just parts of Taking Her that impress me so much that they are bound to shine through this review. Here it goes...

Zoe Nichols is a lawyer that devotes her skills at her Father's firm, however, she is treated with such blatant disregard always. Connor Grigson is an Irish immigrant that struck it big in the music world. Connor has overcome so much in his past, you can't help but hurt for him. True strength is portrayed by these two characters in many ways. Within these amazing pages you will find plenty of drama as well as the beauty of a well crafted journey to Connor and Zoe's happily ever after. Zoe grows as a person from cover to cover and with someone like Connor on her side, she has an incredible inspiration, him. After meeting Connor by chance, Zoe has an unbelievable one night stand (all without knowing his real name). Returning to work only to learn of an unethical lawsuit her Father and coworker, try to ensure will stick and be beneficial to them by guaranteeing they can extort money out of Connor, Zoe finds herself backed into a corner and accompanying them to the initial meeting with Mr. Grigson. Only she finds herself face to face with the exemplary man she met the other night. While both are baffled, the storyline really takes off running and will keep you glued to your Kindle just like I was from page one all the way throughout. Taking Her hits on so many sensitive subjects (ongoing struggles of addiction, loss, betrayal, violence and an all consuming love) leaving reader's, like me, feeling in awe of Mr Banks talent yet again (as I said). Trust that this only touches lightly on the awesomeness of this book.

I was incredibly fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Taking Her in exchange for my honest opinion and I believe this read is just another must read masterpiece of R.R.'s. I can not wait to see what he gifts us with next.
