bookshelves: short-story, world-war-two, made-me-cry, holocaust, thought-provoking
A short but poignant story about world war two and the horrors of the prisoner of war camps.
Very well written and I could feel the fear as the prisoners where lined up in front of the trenches waiting to die.
The many people who died in the gas chambers, the starvation and the fear that they all endured.
Everyone should read stories like this in the hope that history does not repeat itself.
This book was free on Kobo but if you read it you will probably need tissues as I certainly did.
