Considering Rhapsodic was published before ACOMAF chances are Sarah actually read this series and took things from it to create Rhys’ character and enhance the things inspired by this series. Considering there are a ton of very specific similarities in their characters personality, story, and physical traits. Plus specific story line events that are echoed in Sarah’s writing for example (this is from the second book in this series) the scene where they are doing it over the city. Just my thoughts 🤷🏻♀️ I also enjoyed both this series and Acotar.
