Furious Rush (Furious Rush, #1)

I honestly don't want to waste any more time on this book. S.C. Stephens has never been an author whose stories I enjoy. The Thoughtless series had me 50 shades of fucked up (and not in a good way). But as I've said before: I'm finnicky. I know plenty of people loved those books, so if you're not a fussy little bitch like yours truly, you'll probably really like Furious Rush.
The premise of this story hinges on a Capulet-Montague style family enmity between racing team rivals Benneti and Cox. Basically, the two families hate each other, and any employees caught fraternizing with the enemy are immediately fired. Extreme? Definitely. If you're into modern Romeo & Juliet "retellings" then you may enjoy this. For me, it was over the top and poorly developed. The only emotion I felt while reading was annoyance.

Have you read any of the thoughtless series? Did you like them?

Not you too?! None of my GR peeps are giving this book a great review. I've had it on my tbr and now I'm thinking that's not such a good idea :( But I appreciate your honesty!! xx
No I haven't! But I have it on my TBR because one of my favorite author marked it as five stars but I'm become like you. I'm getting so so picky with romances. I dislike them more than I like them nowadays.

A LOT of the situations were like "chance" encounters, and it's like THIS STUFF DOESN'T ACTUALLY HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE?!?! It wasn't believable at all for me idk, does that make sense?

I keep seeing shitty reviews for this and now I'm actually glad I got denied an ARC for this. Off the TBR it goes. I've never read anything by this author :x
Great review, dear!

I don't think you'd like it either Maria! SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME (& MONEY). If you'd like a book about racing (although this one is cars, not bikes) #Junkie is a good one (& it's an m/m)!!!!!!)

wowza. The only reason I wanted to read it was because there's a fucking bike on the cover and I just figured it's about bikes lol My husband races bikes so I kinda dig that :p K, pass then! I'm checking out Junkie now :p thanks!
