I've read a few Liane Moriarity books now & this 1 is my favorite. Moriarity's books seem to follow the same pattern: characters each with their own struggles & stories that intertwine with others to form the overall story. As I read each, I feel the scene being set, the suspense building to a heightened turning point & then the resolution to each individual story. Yes, I know that's how fiction stories often "should" be but they don't always work out this way - She has it down & she's also very witty. I really liked The Husband's Secret, most of the characters in the book, & thought the last chapter was an interesting, great finish to a really good story.
