it was ok
bookshelves: paranormal, boring, dropped, meh, not-a-man-ho, safety-gang-safe, virgin-hero

I tried, I really did. I even picked it back up, after a few previous failures but by God, could she please stop talking about those fucking roses. Seriously. I felt like all I read about were those roses and how she grew them. Ghh. I did hear it gets better after the first half, but by then I just didn't care anymore. Sadly a DNF for me. :(

Yes, from what I read it's all about roses and not really any romance. Hope it changes soon. I did read the epilogue (I was too curious) and hoped for more. :/

I admit, I started reading other books because all this talk about roses was too much for me. Also I've got some ARC books on NetGalley that I'd like to read as soon as possible. It's like I read this story in between pauses from other books.

Really, bummer. :( I think I'll battle through the boring part to where the romance starts and if that's boring, too, then I will have to give up.
It's a shame, tho. The idea of minotaur romance is quite refreshing and unique.

Maya I will probably do that, since I'm not big on gardening or anything like that. I swear, this year a bought some rose seeds and they all died, so me reading how great they grow in this book is seriously a hit to my ego, haha. :)

Haha, me too, Erika! It's been a few months and I still can't grow a small pitaya. It's driving me nuts. :(

Thanks, Jessica! I just finished My Viking Vampire (Sanctuary, Texas, #1) by Krystal Shannan and it's a really great story. Now I'm starting The Score (Off-Campus, #3) by Elle Kennedy . Fingers crossed it's a good one. :D

Alice Perry I'm actually enjoying this book. I've nearly finished the whole thing. I've also read goddess of legend which is also in the series,It was also pretty good. The one im reading now is alot more interesting in my opinion. Sorry you couldn't get into it.

It's a shame I couldn't get into it. I probably won't pick it up again, since I've forgotten so many things that already happened in the first half but I'm super glad you're enjoying it. :)
