Wonderful. This is one of those books you can't bear to finish because you don't want it to end...

Karen· Mister Pip ranks up there as one of my best ever: I really must look into more by Mister Jones.

Teresa I ended up a bit underwhelmed by Mister Pip though there was a lot of it I liked, too. I'd definitely be willing to read him again, so glad to see you're liking this one so much, Lisa.

Lisa It's taking ages to read because I keep stopping to mull over what's been written... this is such an intriguing book!

K.D. Absolutely What is fascinating is that Jones has woven his story using an overlapping series of narrators, none of whom are reliable.

Uh huh, this seems like a hard-to-read book. I am fond of multiple narrators (like William Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury) and I can dig overlapping ones but not if they are not reliable. This book I should try to see if I would agree with you.

Lisa Yes, KD, I reckon you should give it a go. I suspect you will find it just as riveting as I did.

Teresa Great review, Lisa. Sounds like my kind of book.

Lisa Good, I like the idea of this writer having some new fans:)
