I really enjoyed this series, but what happened here?

Like the whole ending was a huge cop out. The final battle was over that easily and it's cool. Plus killing off a main character isn't ballsy unless other people care and that was just sorta swept under the rug.

Wow, I'm like super annoyed at this book right now.
