This novella about Warren and Bridgette is just really sweet. I know, I know...it doesn't really seem like it since they both pretend to pretty much hate each other but it's not like that at all.

Warren sees something in Bridgette right from the beginning. Sure he has a "thing" for mean girls but it's something more, not insta-love, just a desire to get to know the real Bridgette. It certainly helps that we get his POV.

And it doesn't help that we don't get Bridgette's. We never really know what she's thinking. Thankfully, we get little tidbits along the way but Bridgette has some serious reasons why she's a mean girl.

There's a lot of steaminess in this one. CH certainly didn't hold back. These two get to business right from the get-go and at first, it's just a physical thing but then it becomes so much more. I really enjoyed reading about how it developed.



I loved all the pranks between the roommates but the pepper juice has to be the best. My heart went out for Warren on the last one though...that was a bit tough. But I really enjoyed their sarcastic banter with each other.

I loved getting a little bit of Sydney and Ridge. I just wish there was more...a lot more. In fact, I would have loved this "surprise" novella to have been about them!

But back to Warren and Bridgette. Another favorite scene was the one at Warren's sisters. The parts with Conner and Bridgette were priceless. Brody wasn't too bad either.

And it ends really well. I just loved the two beds idea!
